Description
The Old Cottage and Acorn Cottage is a cottage that dates back to the 17th century, with an addition from the 18th century on the left and a 20th-century addition on the right. The building is timber framed with white painted brick nogging and features a thatched roof. It has two eyebrow semi-dormers with three-light leaded casements and end stacks. The structure consists of two framed bays and is one and a half storeys high. There is an off-centre boarded door to the left, which is sheltered by a 20th-century gabled porch. To the left of the door, there is a three-light leaded casement, while to the right, there is one two-light and one three-light leaded casement. The timber framed addition on the left has white painted brick nogging and a tiled roof, and is one storey high with one two-light casement. The one-storey brick addition on the right has a hipped tile roof and an off-centre stack, featuring a half-glazed door to the left and a casement to the right.
