Description
Eden Cottage is a Grade II listed cottage located in Bucklebury, originally built in the 17th century with some refacing from the 18th century. The structure is timber framed with brick nogging and has areas of later white-painted brick refacing. It features a thatched roof with three eyebrow semi-dormers, each containing four-light 20th-century leaded casements. There are two off-centre ridge stacks, one to the right above the door and another to the left. The cottage has an altered lobby entrance and consists of four framed bays, standing at one and a half storeys. On the ground floor, there are four leaded casements, all with three lights except for the second from the left, which has two lights. The three windows to the right have segmental heads. There is a sealed boarded door situated between the first and second windows from the left, and a 20th-century boarded door with a glazed panel located between the third and fourth windows from the left.
