Description

Spring Cottages and Springfields are two cottages located in Speen, dating from the 17th and 18th centuries. The buildings are constructed of brick and timber framing with brick nogging. They feature a half hipped thatched roof, which has two stacks on the ridge and two eyebrow semi-dormers. The cottages are one and a half storeys tall and have a three-window front, all of which are casements. There are two framed bays with angled braces on the right and left sides. The central doorway is blocked, and there is a 20th-century porch and garage blocks that project to the left and right.
