Description

Roean Cottage is a house dating from the 17th century and later additions. It is timber framed with brick nogging. The roof is tiled, half-hipped, and has a gable with a window to the left. There are two chimney stacks. The house is one storey and attic, and two storeys high. It has two framed bays, the right-hand bay featuring curved braces. There are four ground floor windows and one first-floor window, all casements. A door is located at the rear. A later 1½ storey addition to the right is not of particular architectural interest.
