Description
The Old School is a building that has been converted into a cottage. It dates from the late 18th century and the 19th century. The structure is made of brick and features a roof that is partly thatched and partly slated. It has a long rectangular shape, positioned at right angles to No. 22 and parallel to No. 21. There is a chimney located at the center of the ridge, where the two sections of the building meet. The building has one and a half storeys.
On the east elevation, the left side is a 19th-century addition with two three-light casement windows that have cambered heads. The right side is the original 18th-century section with a thatched roof, which includes two three-light casement windows with cambered heads on the ground floor, flanking a boarded entrance door, and two three-light casement windows under the eaves on the first floor. This building is included for its group value.
