Description

This is a row of four early 19th-century houses on Bugle Street. They are two-and-a-half storeys in height, with a slate roof, a corniced parapet, and stringcourses separating the floors. Each house has a single window to the front, and a dormer window above. The original window glazing bars remain intact. Each house has a doorcase with a flat stone hood and a round-headed arch. Numbers 40 and 42 feature round-headed fanlights, with number 40 having radiating bars in the fanlight.
