Description

Number 45 on Bugle Street is a building from the 16th century that has been altered in the 18th century. It stands three storeys tall, with the upper floors constructed in timber framing and filled with pebble-dash, while the ground floor is finished in stucco. The roof is covered with old tiles and features a weather-boarded parapet.

On the upper floors, there are two 18th-century two-storey rectangular bay windows, each adorned with strip pilasters at the corners and a moulded wooden cornice above each floor. The ground floor has two sash windows with glazing bars. The entrance features a plain doorcase with a six-fielded panelled door set within a moulded architrave, and there is a plinth at the base of the building.
