Description

The Abbey Mill Ruins date from the late 12th century to the early 13th century. The structure features three arches, constructed from quarry flint with Caen stone ashlar dressings and brick filling. The side arches are round-headed, while the central arch is larger and pointed, spanning over the Holy Brook. This central arch has a roll moulding on the west side and chevron detailing on the east side. The ruins are now isolated within a development site.
