Description
99 London Street is a house built in the late 18th century, with some alterations made in the 20th century, including the addition of a shopfront.
The main front is rendered, and the pitched roof is covered with plain tiles. The building has a rectangular plan, with its front facing west onto London Street.
It stands three storeys high, featuring a shopfront on the ground floor and two windows on both the first and second floors. The shopfront includes two fixed multi-pane windows. To the south, there are two doorways, both fitted with late 20th century or early 21st century doors; the narrower southernmost door likely used to provide access to a passage. The windows on the upper floors are set within painted raised eared surrounds. The first-floor windows are larger, and both floors have six-over-six sash frames. The second-floor architraves are connected to a moulded cornice and blocking course.
