Description
Lane Cottage is a 16th-century building located on Upper Woodcote Road. It is two storeys high and features a square frame timber structure with colour-washed brick walls, except for the south wall, which is made of flint but is obscured. The building is said to be dated 1701. A modern shingle roof has replaced the original thatch. There is one window on the first floor and two on the ground floor, with the door positioned off-centre to the left. A central modern brick chimney is also present.
