Description

Little Garth Cottages, a 16th-century house, is a timber-framed and plastered building with two storeys and a ridged, gabled roof covered in peg tiles. It features one red brick chimney near the center of the building and another at the right end. On the left side of the ground floor, there is an archway with three panelled doors and two small-paned sash windows. The first floor has a range of five small-paned sashes and a casement window in the third position. The roof displays a heavy collar-purlin on the northern gable. Inside, the building has moulded ceiling joists. Additionally, there is a wing that extends west from the north end.
