Description
Old Blagrave Farmhouse is a building that likely dates from around 1700. It has two storeys and a garret, with a flint footing and a plinth. The ground floor is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond, while the first floor features tall, uneven studding. There are two modern windows on the first floor and two three-light windows on the ground floor, which retain their original frames but have modern glazing. The roof is covered with modern tiles and has a large central stack. At the rear, there is a two-storey half-hipped extension that forms a T-plan, which is timber framed on the first floor and has a part catslide roof. Some blue bricks are incorporated into the design, and the corner posts have tile-covered corner braces, a local architectural feature.
