Description

Yew Tree is a cottage located in Mapledurham, dating from the 18th century with some alterations made in the 20th century. The building features timber framing with brick infill and has a thatched roof, with a brick stack on the right side. It has a single cell plan and is one storey high with an attic, presenting a one-window range. There is a plank door leading to a single-storey wing on the left, a 2-light casement window in the center, and a gabled dormer also in the center. The interior has not been inspected, and there is a 20th-century single-storey wing on the right. The cottage is shown on the Ordnance Survey map as Cornwood Cottage.
