Description

Number 28 Southampton Street appears to be a 20th-century replica of a 17th-century building. It is timber framed with brick infill, and features a tiled roof with end chimneys. The brick infill incorporates a herringbone pattern below the left-hand first-floor windows. The right-hand bay projects slightly and contains two casement windows. The left-hand bay has three closely-spaced casement windows on the first floor, and a shop window on the ground floor. The front door is panelled and stained to resemble an early 17th-century design.
