Description

No. 63 High Street is a house with origins dating back to the 16th century, featuring an early 19th-century front and late 20th-century alterations. The exterior is stuccoed with a plain tile hipped roof and a rendered stack on the right. The building has three storeys and an attic, with four bays. On the right side, there is a 20th-century door, while the left side has two 20th-century garage doors. The first and second floors have sash windows, each with 12 panes, set under cambered arches, and there is a band above the window heads on these floors. The building is topped with a coped parapet and has a 20th-century dormer. Inside, the first floor features an exposed 16th-century timber frame truss with wattle and daub infill on the left wall.
