Description

This is an early 19th-century house located on the east side of Grand Parade, Portsmouth. The building is stuccoed with a plain tile roof. It is three storeys high and has one wide bay. The front door, on the left, is of four panels, with the upper two panels glazed with leaded lights. It sits within a panelled surround, flanked by reeded pilasters, a frieze with a cornice, and a flat hood supported by shaped brackets. To the right of the door is a two-storey bow window with twelve-pane sashes. On the second floor are two double casements with sixteen panes. There is a cornice below a coped parapet. A 1914-1918 War Memorial tablet is on the right side of the ground floor. The interior has not been inspected.
