Description
The Bridge Tavern is a public house, now functioning as both a public house and restaurant, dating from around 1806. It features painted brickwork and has a low pitched Welsh slate hipped roof with a brick stack on the left side. The building stands three storeys high and has two bays. In the center of the east front, there is a three-panelled door, with the upper panel glazed and an overlight above, all set within a public house front that includes flanking pilasters, a fascia, and a cornice. On both the left and right sides of the door, there are fixed casements, each flanked by Doric pilasters. The first and second floors each have two 16-pane casements, which are set under flat rendered arches.
