Description
Nos. 65-71 Kingston Crescent are four terraced houses built around 1830-1840, which have been restored and altered in the late 20th century. They are constructed from yellow stock bricks laid in Flemish bond and feature a Welsh slate roof. There are brick stacks located between Nos. 65 and 67, 67 and 69, and 69 and 71, with additional small stacks on the ridge of No. 71. The buildings are two storeys high with an attic and consist of seven bays arranged in a 2:2:2:1 pattern.
Each house has a recessed four-panelled door on the left side, with the upper two panels glazed and an overlight with side margin glazing. The doorcases include fluted reveals, pilasters, and a cornice. To the right of each door is a two-leaf French casement window with margin glazing and moulded lower panels, along with attached louvred shutters. A late 20th-century timber verandah runs across the front of the houses. On the first floor, each house features two 12-pane sash windows, except for No. 71, which has one sash window set beneath flat rendered arches. The buildings have projecting eaves and flat-roofed dormers. The rear of the houses includes late 20th-century extensions. The interior has not been inspected.
