Description

Three houses, numbers 32, 34, and 36, were built around 1830 and have been altered later. Number 32 is constructed of red brick with grey headers in a Flemish bond pattern, and has a hipped roof covered in plain tiles, with a brick stack on the right side. Numbers 34 and 36 are of painted brickwork and have interlocking tiled hipped roofs; number 34 has a brick stack on the left, and number 36 has a brick stack on the right.

Each house is three storeys high and one bay wide. Number 32 has a five-panel door on the left side, with the three upper panels glazed, set within a doorcase featuring thin fluted pilasters, a broken entablature, and an open pediment. To the right of the door is a twelve-pane sash window set under a flat, gauged brick arch. Number 34 includes a 20th-century door on the right side, sheltered by a 20th-century tiled hood with brackets. To the left of the door is a two-storey tripartite canted bay window with a central four-pane sash and narrower flanking sashes, pilaster dividing lights, a panelled apron at ground level, and a modillion cornice above the first floor. Number 36 has a 20th-century door recessed between flanking panels, with a doorcase detailed by fluted pilasters, a broken entablature, and a pediment above; to the right is a sixteen-pane sash window. Numbers 32 and 36 both have one twelve-pane sash window on the first and second floors. The second-floor sash window of number 32 has been shortened. Number 34 has a single four-pane sash window on the second floor. The ground and first-floor sash windows of number 36 have 20th-century shutters. All three houses feature brick dentil bands above the second floor and coped parapets. The interiors have not been inspected.
