Description
Hill Farmhouse is a house dating from the early 18th century that has been altered. It features chequered brick on a stone plinth and chamfered stone quoins. The roof is hipped and tiled, with a moulded and bracketed wood cornice, and hipped dormers on the north and south slopes. The building has two storeys and an attic, with a brick first floor band that steps up over the central door. The west front originally had five bays of windows; the outer and central bays now have 19th-century two-light casements. The central door from the 19th century is flanked by three-light casements. On the north wall, there is one original two-light mullioned and transomed window with leaded glazing on the left-hand side of the first floor. At the rear, there is a long 19th-century wing.
