Description
The Memorial Clock Tower, dated 1846, is a clock tower constructed from dressed rubblestone. It features three stages. The ground stage has a pointed arched doorway on the west side and bands separating the storeys. Each side of the second stage has one lancet window. The belfry stage includes three lancets on each side, with the center lancet on the east side blocked and featuring a clock face. The tower is topped with coped parapets and pinnacles. It is designed in a simple Early English Gothic style and was built in memory of Margaret, the wife of the Rector, Thomas Fry. War memorial tablets are now attached to the lower stages of the tower.
