Description
The Bell and Bear Public House is an 18th-century building located on High Street in Emberton. It is constructed from coursed rubble and features a slate roof. The structure has three bays and stands two storeys tall. The door situated between the left-hand bays is topped with a modern hood supported by scrolled iron brackets. The left-hand central bay has a three-light casement window, while the centre bay also has a three-light barred casement. The right-hand bay includes a four-pane sash window with brick jambs, and to the right of this window is a door that also has a modern hood with scrolled iron brackets. On the upper floor, there are three-light central bar casements. At the rear, there is a two-storey stone range.
