Description
The Carrington Arms Public House is an early 19th-century building located on South Street in Castlethorpe. It is constructed of coursed rubblestone and features a slate roof. The building has brick stacks situated at the gable, between the left-hand bays and at the party wall with No. 3. It stands three storeys tall and has three bays. The windows are four-pane sashes with pointed heads and keyblocks. There is a door located between the right-hand bays, which is framed by a modern pedimented and pilastered doorcase. On the left-hand gable elevation, there are tablets inscribed with 'R.S.' below a cornice.
