Description

This is an 18th-century terrace of eight cottages located on the west side of High Street South in Olney. The buildings are constructed of red brick with stone quoins. They have slate roofs and brick stacks, with moulded brick eaves. Each cottage features two four-pane sash windows, with painted voussoir heads and keyblocks. A central four-panelled door is present in each, accompanied by a rectangular fanlight and a wooden doorcase. The doorcase is characterized by fluted pilasters, panelled sections within the frieze, and a flat moulded cornice hood.
