Description
No. 13 on High Street South is an early 19th-century building made of red brick featuring vertical patterns in black headers. It has a slate roof and stands two storeys tall, with a stone band at the first floor. The central entrance consists of a half-glazed door topped by a rectangular fanlight, with panelled reveals and a wooden doorcase that includes pilasters, a decorated frieze, and a cornice, although this is now covered by an advertising fascia. To the right, there is a shallow bay window with a cornice, while to the left is a 19th-century sash window with a stone lintel and keyblock. The first floor has two barred sash windows and a blank recess above the door, all featuring similar lintels.
