Description

The former Church School, also known as The Church Hall, is a building dating from around 1840. It is constructed from local limestone with dressings made of Northamptonshire iron stone and features a slate roof. The building is two storeys high and has two projecting bays facing the street, each containing a large three-light window with a transom, hood mould, and cast iron diagonal patterned glazing. Above these windows are shaped gables with Tudor arch attic ventilators. There are porches on each side, which have stone-coped gables, Tudor arched doorways, and small side windows. Additionally, there are two tall windows on each side, each featuring hood moulds and iron glazing.
