Description
The garden wall and attached gatepiers located north of Brayfield House date from the 18th century. Constructed of stone, the high walls enclose a kitchen garden and feature stone and brick buttresses, along with pitched tiled copings. The northern half of the wall has been reduced to the height of a field wall. There are doors with wooden lintels in the center of the east and west walls. At the northeast corner, a spur wall connects to a pair of stone gatepiers. These gatepiers have moulded plinths, scroll-topped piers on their inner faces, moulded cornices, and ball finials.
