House; wing of former Manor House. Dated 1588 on chimney stack (RCHM) with C17 work, altered, Stone, steep pitched old tile roof, large projecting chimney on W. side, coursed stone below eaves and brick above with 2 diagonal shafts and offset heads, defaced date stone on brick stack. One dormer to left, 2 storeys and attic, 2 2 light casement to 1st floor, wide flat buttress to right hand corner S, gable to road has 3 light casement to ground and 1st floor, 2 light to attic, E. front has door and 2 1st floor casements. Lower wing to north with slate roof, brick chimney. RCHM II p 212 MON 2
