Description
"Jordans" is a house that forms a wing of a former Manor House, dated 1588 on the chimney stack, with 17th century alterations. The building is constructed of stone and features a steeply pitched old tile roof. On the west side, there is a large projecting chimney made of coursed stone below the eaves and brick above, which has two diagonal shafts and offset heads, along with a defaced date stone. The house has one dormer on the left, is two storeys high with an attic, and has two sets of two-light casements on the first floor. A wide flat buttress is located at the right-hand corner on the south side. The gable facing the road includes a three-light casement on both the ground and first floors, and a two-light casement in the attic. The east front features a door and two first-floor casements. There is a lower wing to the north with a slate roof and a brick chimney.
