Description
The bakehouse, located to the east of Bradwell Abbey House, is an outbuilding that is now part of a Field Centre. It has medieval foundations and dates back to the 18th century. The structure is built of rubble stone and features an old tile roof with a zig-zag pattern made of lighter tiles, which is half-hipped at the northern end. There is a modern glazed door in the west wall, and windows in the original openings in the east and north walls, all of which have timber lintels.
