Description

No. 9 High Street is an 18th-century building that has been altered. The exterior is made of stone, which is now painted, and it features a slate roof with brick stacks. The gables are topped with stone coping, and there are wooden eaves with dentils. The entrance has a six-panelled door with a semi-circular patterned fanlight, along with panelled reveals and a wooden doorcase that includes slender columns, medallion triglyphs, and a dentilled triangular pediment. There are three steps leading up to the door. To the left, there is a 19th-century canted bay window with a pilaster and a slate roof. On the right, there is a modern shop window, and the first floor has three sash windows.
