Description
No 103 on High Street is a small, two-storey house built in the late 17th century and later modified, featuring a very compact design. The front is covered in plaster, and it has a steep early tiled roof with two hipped dormers that contain sash windows. The first floor has four two-light casement windows, while the ground floor features two wide squat sash windows with many panes. The central entrance has a low doorway with a simply moulded wooden case and a small flat hood above it. The door consists of six fielded panels and is set within a Regency doorway that has a reeded surround. At the rear, there is a gabled extension. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 79, 81, 81A, 83, and 87 to 103, with Nos 99 and 101 being of local interest only.
