Description

This tomb chest, located 15 metres northwest of St Margaret's Church, dates from the early 19th century and is associated with members of the Nightingale family. It is made of limestone, likely with a brick core, and stands on a stone plinth. The chest features a running-dog frieze and panelled pilasters that contain an inverted torch, along with a moulded cap and plinth. The entire structure supports a much smaller panelled chest.
