Description

No 106 High Street is a house with a shop, now functioning as a restaurant. The building dates from the late 19th century, although the front may hide earlier construction. It is built of brick and features a Welsh slate roof that runs parallel to the street. The structure has three storeys. The front has a painted finish and a regular two-window arrangement. It includes corner pilasters topped with ball finials. The second-floor windows have horned sashes set within elliptical arches, which are connected by an impost band. The central oriel window on the first floor is canted and also features horned sashes along with a lintel band. There is a 20th-century plate-glass shop window.
