Description
Lodge to Appuldurcombe, built in the early to mid 19th century by the Earl of Yarborough. The structure is made of Isle of Wight stone rubble with ashlar dressings and features a slate roof topped with a central white brick chimneystack. It is a single-storey building with a canted bay at the front that has three 16-pane sash windows. On the left side, there is one additional 16-pane sash window and a projecting gabled porch that includes kneelers and a Gibbs surround doorcase. The entrance features a six-panel cambered door and there is a plinth at the base.
