Description
The wall and entrance at Appuldurcombe is part of a park wall dating from the early to mid 19th century. The wall is constructed of stone rubble and stands about 5 feet high, featuring a curved coping. At the southern end, there is a stone pedestrian gateway, which is adorned with Ionic half columns on the outside and Ionic pilasters on the inside, topped with an elaborate entablature.
