Description
The stables to Appuldurcombe were built in the early 19th century, likely by the Earl of Yarborough. They are constructed from coursed Isle of Wight stone with ashlar quoins and feature a hipped slate roof. The building has two storeys and seven window spaces. On the first floor, there are five 12-pane sash windows and two blank spaces set within stone architraves. The ground floor includes three round-headed doorcases with semi-circular fanlights and nine panelled doors, as well as one rectangular window with a keystone. A plinth runs along the base of the structure.
