Description

This chest tomb, located approximately 10 metres south of the west tower at All Saints Church in Godshill, is believed to date from the 13th or 14th century. It is made of stone and features a moulded top and base. The inscription on the tomb was illegible at the time of the survey. M.H. Bloxham dated it to the 13th or 14th century based on an ancient flat stone that has a cross raised in relief.
