Description
Westview is a house that dates from the 17th century or early 18th century, with a front that was remodeled in the early 19th century. The left side of the ground floor is constructed from ironstone rubble, while the right side features coursed rubble set on a deep rubble and brick base. The first floor is stuccoed with incised lines that mimic masonry. The roof is tiled and has two brick chimneystacks on the ridge, along with one external chimneystack that has an ironstone base and a brick top. The rear elevation is pebbledashed and timber framed. The building is two stories high and has four windows, primarily featuring 19th-century double casements. There is a stringcourse, and the doorcase includes a deep moulded architrave with a half-glazed door. The left side elevation has 16-paned sash windows, while the rear elevation contains two casement windows, one of which has a leaded light. Inside, there is a lobby with fielded panelling and a six-panelled door.
