Description

The water pump located in the grounds of The Crown Inn in Shorwell is a 19th-century cast iron structure standing about 4 feet high. It features a cylindrical base and a wide cylindrical top, which is topped with a domed cap that has a finial. The pump is decorated with an anchor entwined with rope, and it includes a spout and a curved handle.
