Description
The walled garden to West Standen House is a Grade II listed structure from the early 19th century. It features a red brick garden wall that includes piers and spear railings. Near the house, there is a section of spear railings set on a low brick base, accompanied by three brick gatepiers—one topped with a ball finial and the other two adorned with terracotta urns. The wall continues with a curved section built in Sussex bond. To the north, there are two additional brick gatepiers, both with ball finials, along with a corner pier. The western part of the wall is constructed in rat trap bond and includes gatepiers with two ball finials. The southern section of the wall has a corner pier featuring a ball finial.
