Description

The Sprat, at 2-5 Salterns Road, Seaview, is a group of cottages that were altered and partially rebuilt in the mid-19th century. The cottages likely originated in the 17th or 18th century. They are two storeys high, rendered on the exterior, and have gable-ended tiled roofs. Each cottage originally had a single window, with replacements being sash windows from the 19th century and some more modern casements. They feature plain cottage doors. Number 3, and now number 4, has a small bay window.
