Description
No. 3 St James's Street is a building dating from around 1800. It has two storeys and is constructed of gault brick set on a stone plinth. The roof is a low pitch gable end covered with slate, and features a moulded eaves cornice. The building has five windows, with the outer ones slightly projecting forward and all being recessed. The sash windows retain their glazing bars, except for two on the ground floor to the south. The central door is recessed and consists of three fielded panels, topped with a semi-circular fanlight and framed by a gauged brick arch on reeded imposts.
