Description

The barn at Newbarn is a mid-18th century structure built from stone rubble and topped with a pantiled roof. It features a double cart entrance and consists of six bays. Inside, there are two tiers of rafters without a ridgepiece, staggered purlins, tension braces, and angled queen struts. There is a 20th-century barn extension attached to the south, which is not considered of special interest.
