Description
Witchingberry is a cottage that likely dates back to the 17th century, with extensions added in the 18th century. It is constructed from stone rubble and features ashlar quoins. The cottage has a thatched roof with three brick chimneystacks and stands at one and a half storeys tall, with a window arrangement of two over four. The roof includes eyebrow dormers fitted with casement windows.
On the ground floor, there is a mid-19th century sash window with vertical bars only and horns on the left, a fixed 12-pane sash window, a triple casement window, and a 20th-century casement window to the right. The left side has a penticed concrete weather porch. The right bay is believed to be the oldest part of the building, featuring a gable end with kneelers, two stone mullioned windows, and a moulded plinth.
