Description

Yard Farmhouse is an L-shaped farmhouse dating from the later 18th century. It is constructed of stone rubble, faced with round dressed ashlar, with red brick window dressings. The roof is slate, likely having been thatched originally. The façade features three windows with 19th-century wood casements, including a three-light window on the ground floor. A 19th-century gabled red brick porch with a round arched entrance is also present.
