Description
North House is a mid-19th century house located on the north side of High Street in Yarmouth. It is constructed of red brick with a cement rendered basement and features a hipped slate roof with a triple diagonally set chimneystack on the right side. The building has three storeys and a basement, with four windows that are sashes featuring verticals only, set within moulded architraves. The two lower floors are adorned with hood moulding above the windows, and there is a brick stringcourse between the ground and first floors. A Doric porch, which is accessed by a flight of seven steps, is supported by fluted columns and is topped with two lion statues above the entablature.
