Description
No. 10 The Mooring and Kevack is a pair of cottages built around 1820. They are constructed from snecked stone rubble, featuring tooled ashlar quoins and window surrounds. The cottages have a hipped roof covered with old tiles and a central cemented chimney stack. The building consists of two parallel ranges and stands two storeys tall with two windows on each side. Notable architectural details include a dentilled eaves cornice and 16-pane sash windows set in moulded architraves. The end doorcases are round-headed and adorned with keystones, fanlights, reeded surrounds, and six-panelled doors, where the lower two panels are flush but decorated with reeded patterns.
