Description

Padmore House is a late 18th to early 19th century house composed of two parallel ranges. The front and south-west side are stuccoed, while the north-east wall is constructed of stone rubble. The roof is tiled, and the house has two storeys and attics, with five windows and two modern dormers. A stone stringcourse runs along the facade, and the building is topped with a brick cornice featuring modillion details. The windows are set within stone surrounds, and retain their original glazing bars. A porch features coupled columns and a curved pediment. Additions have been made to the north-east end of the rear range, notably a tower resembling a church tower, which is topped with a balustrade.
