Description
The Coach House and Stabling for Hackney Horses at Redway Farm, dated 1796 and featuring the initials I.B., is a historic building. It is constructed of part coursed clunch with red brick quoins and dressings, while the western section, which serves as the tackroom, is made of red brick in Flemish bond. The building has a tiled roof adorned with 19th-century pierced ridge tiles. The exterior includes two fixed casements and a central cambered doorcase. Inside, there are two 19th-century stalls with wood and iron plank partitions. Additionally, there is a late 19th-century brick and wood extension at the rear to accommodate a coach.
