Description
This is an 18th-century barn located to the southwest of the granary at Hale Manor Farm in Arreton. It is constructed from Isle of Wight stone rubble, featuring ashlar quoins and some red brick dressings. The barn has a half-hipped slate roof and includes several blocked triangular ventilation slits. There is a central cart entrance, which now has a later door. On the right-hand end, there are two stalls with wooden partitions and a hay rack. The roof is supported by queen struts with through purlins.
